SAN BERNARDINO (Feb. 27, 2016) -- The 2015-16 season came to an end on Senior Night for the Coyotes, who lost to San Francisco State 76-70 in CCAA men's basketball.
Seniors
Desi Barmore scored 21 ponts and
Juan Martinez addd 13 for the Coyotes, who finished the season 9-15, 6-14 in the CCAA and out of the CCAA Tournament for the first time since the format returned in 2008.
SFSU (16-9, 10-10) gained control with an 11-1 run with 14:46 remaining. The Gators built leads as large as 13 and the closest CSUSB got was four twice in the final 4:33.
The Gators shot 53.8 percent on field goals and outrebounded the Coyotes, 35-25.
Everett Turner wasn't that far away from the first triple-double in school history. he had eight points, seven rebounds and eight assists.
Barmore's effort was the 10th time in the last 12 games the Fresno scored in double figures.
Joining Turner with eight points were senior
Zeke DeBlase and
Darryl Adigwu.
Barmore, DeBlase and Martinez were honored in a pregame ceremony.
