SAN BERNARDINO (Nov. 6, 2015) — Cal State San Bernardino and Eastbay Inc. have reached an agreement in which the Coyotes' athletic teams will wear Nike material and become the Coyotes' official athletic footwear  provider to 2020.
 
The partnership will commence August 2016 and will see CSUSB work with Eastbay by having Nike supply all 10 CSUSB athletics programs with uniforms and footwear.
 
"From a business standpoint, it makes all the sense in the world for our teams and student-athletes to wear the Nike brand, the most recognizable athletic brand in the world,'' said Dr. Kevin Hatcher, CSUSB assistant vice president for athletics and recreation. "We have a strong desire of outfitting our CSUSB programs with the best footwear and uniforms.''
 
As part of the agreement, CSUSB will have access to premium Nike game and practice uniforms and footwear through Eastbay's Team Sales group.
