Box Score CARSON – Friday nights have belonged to No. 14 Cal State San Bernardino all season long.
The Coyotes finished the regular season unbeaten on Friday nights with their 81-75 victory over host Cal State Dominguez Hills in CCAA men's basketball.
And more importantly, the secured at least a share of the CCAA crown. The victory over the Toros, combined with Cal Poly Pomona's double overtime loss at Cal State Stanislaus secured at least a share of the conference title. The Coyotes have a shot to win the title outright should they defeat Cal State L.A. on Saturday and CPP loses at Chico State.

Kirby Gardner paced the Coyotes (22-3 overall, 19-2 CCAA) with 25 points to lead four Coyotes in double figures.

Juan Martinez with 10 as CSUSB led through most of the game and shot at least 50 percent for the 13
th time this year.
And although CSUSB held the lead the entire second half, the Coyotes withstood one of the more impressive performances from an opponent all season.
The Toros' Pierson Williams scored 29 of his 31 points in the second half and scored all eight of his 3-pointers in the final 20 minutes.
The Coyotes, who trailed 14-8 in the early going, utilized a 28-7 run in a 10-minute stretch with an ability to hit shots from outside.
Burris got the run going with consecutive 3-pointers and Gardner ended it with a 3 and CSUSB led 36-21 with 2:03 left in the half.
Inside the run, Oldemoppen was 3-for-3 from the field and finished the night 6-of-6 for a season-best percentage by a Coyote this year.
The Coyotes also generated much of their offense off turnovers, converting 11 CSUDH miscues into 16 points.
CSUSB, now 9-0 on Fridays, concludes its regular season Saturday night at Cal State L.A. CSUDH is 7-21, 4-18.
