Box Score POMONA (Nov. 14, 2014) -- Senior Gilbert Parga scored 15 points in the Coyotes' 92-60 loss against Azusa Pacific in its season opener.

CSUSB takes on Westmont in an exhibition game Saturday also at Cal Poly Pomona.

APU struck with a 14-2 run late in the first half that put the Cougars up 42-25 with 3:36 left in the half. They led by 24 at halftime and never let the Coyotes get closer than 18 in the final half.

CSUSB hit 35.7 percent from the field on 20-of-56 shooting.

Sophomore Everett Turner scored 13 points and senior Isaiah Morton had 12 for the Coyotes.

Troy Leaf led APU with 27 points with five 3-pointers.
