After SFSU's James Albright scored on a jumper that cut CSUSB's lead to 48-43 with 13:05 left, the Coyotes answered with a resounding 13-1 run over the next four-plus minutes and were cruising.

A layup from Martinez got the run rolling and Brewer scored five straight points as CSUSB led 55-44 with 11:37 left. Junior Kwame Alexander then earned his first points of the night on a beautiful alley-oop feed from D.J. Shumpert.
