Box Score: Coyotes 78, Sonoma State 72
ROHNERT PARK -- Senior guard 
Corey Caston scored a game-high 18 points to lead five Coyotes in double figures as visiting Cal State San Bernardino earned a 78-72 road win at Sonoma State in CCAA men's basketball Saturday night.
The Coyotes increased their record to 6-4 overall and 4-2 in the CCAA, while SSU dropped to 5-7, 3-5.
Caston was good on all three of his field-goal attempts in the second half, while teammates 
David Jefferson and 
Nate Roth were both 4 of 5 as CSUSB hit 57.7 percent from the floor in the final 20 minutes.
Senior 
Aaron Hill scored 17, while junior 
Theron Laudermill had 12, Roth 11 and Jefferson 10. It marked the first time since March 2, 2010, that the Coyotes had five players score in double figures.
After Sonoma State went ahead by seven, 9-2 in the first half, the Coyotes answered with a 15-2 run and led 17-11 on Laudermill's two free throws with 11:24 remaining and took a 37-31 lead at the break.
Roth gave CSUSB its largest lead of the second half on a 3-pointer that put CSUSB up 46-36 with 17:29 left.
SSU drew within two points just once, but couldn't get take the lead away from the Coyotes.
The Coyotes were 25-of-54 from the floor (46.3 percent) and shot 40.9 percent from the 3-point stripe, hitting on 9 of 22. 
Caston also had a solid floor game as he had also had game-highs in steals (six) and assists (six).
Laudermill hit all six of his free throw attempts and pulled down a game-high nine rebounds.
CSUSB returns to Coussoulis Arena on Friday night when it takes on Chico State. Tipoff is set for 7:30 p.m.
