Nikki Chestnut joined CSUSB as a volunteer coach in track and field in 2019, and became as assistant coach prior to the 2019 cross country season. 

The former CSUSB student-athlete, was a coach at Cajon High School from 2012-2018, serving as assistant cross country coach, distance coach, and then served as head coach of the track and field and cross country programs.  While at CSUSB she was a team captain and Student-Athlete Advisory Committee member.  She graduated in 2012 with a degree in kinesiology.
