    2007: In her first season with the Coyotes, Bruins was a mainstay on the back defensive line, helping the team limit 20 opponents to a total of 23 goals. She started all 20 matches.
    BEFORE CAL STATE: She played two years of soccer at Chaffey College where she earned the team's "defender" award as a freshman and was the team MVP in her sophomore season, earning all-Foothill Conference honors.
    HIGH SCHOOL: The 2005 graduate of Rancho Cucamonga High School where she twice earned team MVP honors, the coach's award and rookie of the year honors in her four years of soccer.
    PERSONAL:  She is a kinesiology major who plans to continue her studies in radiology after graduation and enter the radiology field and specialize in mammogram screening. Bruins loves to shop, go hiking, work out and run. Her parents are Franzs and Linda Bruins. She has two siblings.
    WHY I CHOSE CSUSB: To continue playing soccer after community college.
