As a junior in 2012: Competed in all seven events for the Coyotes... Among the top five runners for CSUSB... Top 6,000 time (23:27) was at the NCAA Regional in Hawaii, where she finished 56th... Ran 46th at the CCAA Championships, finishing in 23:47.3.
At El Paso CC in 2010-11: Helped her team win two conference championships in cross country... Earned academic All-American honors in both seasons.
At Montwood HS: Competed two seasons for the Rams in cross country and track... Ran both the 1600 and 3200 in track... Earned top 10 district honors and reached regionals in cross country.
Personal: Daughter of Manny and Alicia Colorado... Communications major, who would like write and work for a magazine... Says chocolate chip cookies are her downfall and enjoys her physics classes.
