• Competed in seven of eight events last season
• Posted a 5K best of 20:06 at the UC Riverside Invitational
• Ran a personal best 6K time of 24:58 at UC San Diego, but ran a solid 25:01 at the NCAA West Regional

• Lettered in cross country and track at Serrano High in Phelan, Calif., where she graduated in 2006
• Earned team MVP honors and set school records in her events in three seasons
• Received the Captain's Award, Most Dedicated and Most Improved

• Born to Gail and Milo Nieto
• Majoring in kinesiology
• Wants to teach physical education and coach high school track and cross country, eventually transitioning to college professor in kinesiology
• Enjoys running, reading and babysitting
• Volunteered for the CSUSB Disability Sports Festival, Tin Man Triathlon and the Coyote Challenge 5-10K
