Biography
2014: Competed in six events for the Coyotes … One top-25 finish with 24th at CSUSB meet (24:17.3 over 6,000 meters) … Finished 33rd at CCAA meet (23:46.1) … Shaved 33 seconds between the two events held on the CSUSB campus.
At Riverside City College: Competed two seasons for the Tigers … Ran multiple distance events in track (1,500, 3,000, 5,000, 10,000 and the steeplechase) … Earned a all-conference honors in cross country and was the 2011 MVP on her cross country team … Also swam the backstroke for one season.
At Santiago HS: Lettered in four sports for the Sharks, graduating in 2010 … Lettered in swimming all four seasons, played midfielder in soccer, setter in volleyball and ran cross country … Cross Country MVP her senior season.
Personal: Daughter of Sam and Laura Dixon … Kinesiology major … Interested in becoming either an athletic trainer or occupational therapist … Enjoys surfing, hiking and dancing … Never gets tired of watching "Forrest Gump.''
