2015: Competed in four races for the Coyotes, who finished with their best CCAA finish in school history (3rd) and NCAA West Regional (9th) … Ran 25:14.25 over 6K at Triton Classic, finishing 64th.
2014: Competed in five events for the Coyotes … Ran season-best 25:04.1 over 6,000-m at CCAA meet, finishing 69th.
2013: Competed in six events … Ran 20:27 over 5,000 meters and placed 96th in UCR open meet … Ran 25 minutes flat and finished 61st at UCSD … Placed 84th (25:22.7) at the CCAA meet.
2012: Competed in six of the Coyotes' seven events... Finished 33rd at the Cal Baptist (20:15 over 5,000 m)... Placed 74th at the CCAA meet in 24:49.6 over 6,000 m.
At La Sierra HS: Competed in cross country and track and field all four seasons... Led cross country team to league title as a senior and was named team MVP... Earned a pair of All-Inland Valley League honors... Ran personal bests: 5:43 (1600 m) and 12:02 (3200 m).
Personal: Daughter of Juan Hernandez and Antonia Alegria... Would like to major in computer systems... Enjoys the outdoors and in particular hiking, fishing and snowboarding... Big fan of stuffed chicken marsala.
