Biography
2006-07: Blake sat out the season as a redshirt.
BEFORE CAL STATE: Blake played two seasons of basketball at Chaffey Community College, earning first-team all-Foothill Conference and second-team all-state honors.
HIGH SCHOOL: She is a 2003 graduate of Chino High School where she played three years of basketball, earning first-team all-league honors. She also competed in track three years and earned team MVP honors.
PERSONAL: Blake is a psychology major who would like to own her own business after graduation. She enjoys watching movies and being with friends in her spare time. She helped collect food for victims of Hurricane Katrina. Her parents are Alvin and Tawana Blake. She has two siblings.
FAVORITES: Fast food – Del Taco; TV program – Girlfriends, Family Guy; Movie – “Love and Basketball”; Music – Lil’ Wayne; Meal – anything with shrimp.
MOST MEMORABLE SPORTS MOMENT – Winning a tournament at Orange Coast College and being MVP at Chaffey.
MOST EMBARRASSING SPORTS MOMENT – Shooting two air balls from free throw line in my freshman year of high school.
WHY I CHOSE CSUSB – Nice campus and good athletic program.
