HIGH SCHOOL: Egbuna played four years of basketball and three years of volleyball at Horizon High School in San Diego, graduating in 2007. She averaged 10.6 points a game and 8.9 rebounds a game in 2006-07, making the San Diego all-star team and first-team all-Union Tribune. In volleyball she was a second team all-Union Tribune selection. She was also an all-star in softball.

PERSONAL: She has not declared a major but plans to stay in school after earning her bachelor’s degree and work toward her master’s. She enjoys shopping, going to the beach and playing volleyball in her spare time. She worked at a convalescent hospital in San Diego as community service.
Her mother is Diane Holeman.
