    BEFORE CAL STATE: Sanchez played softball at Odessa College and College of the Desert, earning second-team JC all-America honors at COD.
    HIGH SCHOOL: She is a 2005 graduate of Indio High School where she played four years of softball, earning all-CIF honorable mention.
    PERSONAL: Sanchez is a kinesiology major with a goal of obtaining a nursing degree. She enjoys working out, swimming and taking random road trips. Her parents are Cindy and Doug Sanchez. She has four siblings.
    MOST MEMORABLE SPORTS MOMENT -- Going 19 innings in one game for conference champion team my senior year.
