    BEFORE CAL STATE: Nava played softball at Midland Community College in 2006-07 and 2007-08.
    HIGH SCHOOL: She is a 2006 graduate of Jurupa Valley High School in Riverside where she played four years of softball, earning first-team all-league and MVP honors.
    PERSONAL: Nava is an English major who is interested in working in the field of human resources. She has volunteered at local softball camps and serving holiday meals in Midland. Away from softball, she enjoys horseback riding, surfing, snowboarding, running and hiking. Her mother is Victoria Nava.
    MOST MEMORABLE SPORTS MOMENT: When I stole third base in a regional tournament game and then scored as my team won the regional. 
    WHY I CHOSE CSUSB: I love the campus and I think the coaching staff is great.
