Biography
2015-16: Played in 26 rounds … Had two top-20s in the fall with best finish T7 at Sonoma State on the strength of a T7 (2-over 218) … Averaged 74.5 in the spring with three top-20s and one top-10, a T5 at Notre Dame de Namur at Poppy Ridge GC in Livermore (3-over 219) … Best round of 69 in R1 at NDNU … A 2015-16 CCAA All-Academic choice.
2014-15: Walked on the team in the spring and performed well … Played in all seven tourneys with one top-20 score and a 75.8 average and two below par scores (70 at Poppy Ridge in Livermore and 71 at Hiddenbrooke in March). … Only male dual-sport athlete at CSUSB as he has played the last two seasons with the baseball team.
At Coronado HS: Played all four seasons for the Islanders … Helped team to a 2010 CIF title … A two-time first-team All-CIF selection (sophomore and junior seasons) … Played golf his senior season and averaged 36.26 and named team MVP and first-team all league.
Personal: Son of Scott and Lisa Meloche … Majoring in business … Father played baseball at the U.S. Naval Academy … Says watching Baseball Tonight on ESPN and listening to the Rolling Stones rank as his favorites … Enjoys his history classes … Steak and potatoes dinner is his favorite meal.
