    2007-08: Richard sat out the season as a redshirt.
    HIGH SCHOOL: He is a 2007 graduate of Los Osos High School where he played four years of basketball and earned all-Baseline League first-team honors.
    PERSONAL: Richard is a communications major who wants to pursue a master's degree in that field after graduation and has hopes of playing in the NBA. He as been a motivational speaker. He enjoys listening to music, playing video games and spending time with family. His mother is Tori Gooden.
    MOST MEMORABLE SPORTS MOMENT: Playing in the Daily Bulletin all-star game.
