Biography
2006-07 – Reichel was a valuable asset to the team, helping them advance to the NCAA Final Four by averaging 5.6 points a game and setting a single-season team record for three-point field goal percentage (50 percent) by hitting on 39 of 78 attempts from the floor. He shot 54 percent from the field in 32 games, 11 of which he started. He scored a season high 14 points against Cal State Stanislaus and had 10 points in the NCAA semifinal loss to Barton College.
2005-06: Reichel sat out the season as a redshirt.
2004-05: As a sophomore, Reichel was a member of a CCAA co-champion team that went 21-6, 16-4 in the CCAA. He appeared in 20 games, starting twice and averaging 8.4 minutes per game. He averaged 2.7 points per game and shot 83 percent from the foul line.
BEFORE CAL STATE: Reichel played one season at The Master’s College.
HIGH SCHOOL: He played four years of basketball at Camarillo High School where he was the league player of the year. He also played one year of volleyball, graduating in 2003.
PERSONAL: Reichel is a business major with an emphasais on entrepreneurial management and a minor in finance and real estate. After graduation he wants to play pro ball overseas and ultimately own his own business. Away from the court he enjoys table tennis, golf and watching sports on TV. His father is Rick Reichel.
