      BEFORE CAL STATE: O'Connor played one season at San Bernardino Valley College, where he was the team's most valuable pitcher and then one year at Colorado State-Pueblo, in Colorado.
    HIGH SCHOOL: He is a 2005 graduate of Redlands East Valley High School where he played four years of baseball for Coach Steve Hernandez, earning scholar-athlete honors.
    PERSONAL: O'Connor is majoring in kinesiology with an emphasis in pedagogy (teaching). His career goal is to be a coach. Away from baseball, he enjoys skateboarding and snowboarding.
His parents are Kerry Barkley and Mike O'Connor. He has four sibllings.
    MOST MEMORABLE  SPORTS MOMENT: Hitting a walk-off home run.
    WHY I CHOSE CSUSB: It's my hometown college.
