Biography

At Mesa College: Played two seasons and was named Sophomore of the Year in 2012… One-time SoCal Junior College Pitcher of the Week for his efforts against Palomar – threw eight innings and allowed two hits, struck out five without a walk.

At Mission Bay HS: Three-year letter winner for the Buccaneers… Named team’s most valuable pitcher in 2010.

Personal: Son of Micheal and Melanie Austin… Business management major…  Says In-N-Out is his favorite fast food outlet… Loves watching ESPN’s Baseball Tonight… Favorite meal is his mom’s lasagna… Favorite movie is “Sandlot.’’
