Biography
As a freshman: Competed in six events in 2011... Ran best 6,000 time (23:40.1) and finished 73rd at CCAA championsips... Represented CSUSB at NCAA West Regional and finished 100th (24:18.0)... Ran 20:36.6 5,000 meters at UC Irvine... An All-CCAA Academic choice.
At Los Osos HS: Competed in both cross country and track and field, graduating in 2011… Earned All-Baseline League first team in cross country as a junior and senior… Reached CIF prelims as an individual and team member in both her junior and senior seasons… Ran personal best 18:52 over 5,000 meters her senior year.
Personal: Daughter of Dean and Lisa Myers… Family of four children… Biology major, who would like to attend medical school and become a neonatologist… Loves Quiznos and Reeses… Breaking the school record in the 3200 meters in track and field is her most memorable sports moment.
