SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. - Newly hired head men's basketball Coach Gus Argenal has announced an Elite Camp for Sunday, August 27th from 10 AM to 2 PM. Widely regarded as one of the best Division II facilities in the nation, Coussoulis Arena will serve as home to Argenal's inaugural camp.

Argenal, who prepped at bay area power De La Salle, played collegiately at UC Davis and still holds the Aggies single-game record with 13 assists. Through his coaching career — which includes stops at Arizona State, Rice, Nevada and Arkansas — Argenal has placed a special emphasis on skill development, which will be featured prominently at the elite camp. He has coached countless NBA players, including Ike Diogu (Golden State Warriors, Indiana Pacers, Portland Trailblazers, Sacramento Kings, Los Angeles Clippers, San Antonio Spurs), Caleb Martin (Charlotte Hornets, Miami Heat), Cody Martin (Charlotte Hornets), Jalen Harris (Toronto Raptors, New York Knicks), Jalen Williams (Oklahoma City Thunder), Stanley Umude (Detroit Pistons), Nick Smith (Charlotte Hornets), Jordan Walsh (Boston Celtics), and Anthony Black (Orlando Magic).
 
In addition to skill instruction, the exclusive camp will feature top competition, mentorship, and leadership development delivered by coaches and players alike. The $75 cost includes a T-shirt.
