Brandon Knapper used his all-around game to capture this week's Men's Basketball Player of the Week award, for the week of Nov. 14-20.

Knapper, the conference's leading scorer last season, averaged 22 points with 5.5 rebounds, 5.5 assists and 2.5 steals per game to lead the No. 6 ranked Yotes to a 4-0 start. CSUSB took both games at the Bronco Classic at Cal Poly Pomona last weekend with wins over La Sierra and Biola.

The senior guard shot 59 percent from the field with 40 percent accuracy from the 3-point arch for his 44-point performance. He also amassed 11 rebounds, 11 assists and five steals in two games.

Knapper, who is from Ontario, scored 15 points with four rebounds in 31 minutes of play against La Sierra. The following night, he netted a season-high 29 points with seven boards in the victory over Biola.

This was the returning All-American's fourth player of the week award. Knapper earned this honor three times in 2021-22 en route to a CCAA-best 20.9 points per game campaign.

CSUSB will spend the holiday weekend in Honolulu at the Hoops in Hawai'i Thanksgiving Classic presented by Outrigger Hotels. The Yotes will face Chaminade and Central Oklahoma.
