LOS ANGELES – The CSUSB Coyotes fell in their season finale on Saturday morning at CSULA, 2-1.
The Golden Eagles built a 2-0 lead in the first half with goals in the 14th and 39th minutes. The Coyotes responded in the second half, firing seven shots, three on goal, leading up to the free kick goal from Cassandra Bermudez, playing in her final collegiate game, in the 80th minute.
Alyssa Campa had a shot saved in the 83rd minute as the Yotes tried to extend the match. The Coyotes finished the season and graduated just five seniors heading into next year.
