SAN BERNARDINO -- No. 8 Cal Poly Pomona scored 12 unanswered points in overtime and that was enough for the visiting Broncos in their 85-76 win over host Cal State San Bernardino in a game for first place in the CCAA race Thursday night at Coussoulis Arena.
The Coyotes, who are now 5-3 overall and 4-1 in the CCAA, will look to put aside a disappointing loss as they face San Francisco State on Friday. Tipoff is 7:30 p.m.
Senior Tre Brewer led three Coyotes in double figures with 21 points. Junior
Kwame Alexander had his second double-double of the season with 18 points and 13 rebounds and senior
