Samantha was named CCAA Player of the Week for her efforts during the Coyote Labor Day Classic. She led the then-3rd ranked Coyotes to victories over Western Oregon, Alaska Anchorage, Dominican and No. 17 Western Washington. The Coyotes increased their home winning streak to 50 consecutive matches.
