Sophomore infielder Samantha Vacko was named to the Desert Stinger Tournament all-tourney team, with 25 errorless chances as the team's second baseman. In addition to her fielding excellence, Vacko batted .500 (5-for-10) with a double and two RBI, and led her team with three stolen bases. The Coyotes went 5-0 on the weekend, their best season start in 25 seasons.
