Cassandra was named the most outstanding pitcher at this past weekend's Tournament of Champions in Turlock. She went 3-1 with one save with a 1.32 ERA. She threw 27 innings, gave up 21 hits and struck out 35 with only two walks. She struck out 11 against MSU Billings in which she retired the first 19 batters. She also struck out 11 against Dominican.
