Laura Aceves picked up her second CCAA Runner of the Week honor this season. She won the 6,000-meter UC San Diego Triton Invitational, running 21 minutes, 46.03 seconds in the field of 115 competitors. The time is the third fastest 6K in school history.

Earlier this season she smashed the school's 5,000-meter time and now prepares for the CCAA Championship, held Oct. 22 at Cucamonga-Guasti Regional Park in Ontario.
