Jessica was honored for standout play in her season debut by earning this season's first California Collegiate Athletic Association Softball Player of the Week Award for the weekend of Jan. 29-31.

Brown supplied the power for the Coyotes in their 10-5 and 12-7 wins over Mercyhurst on Saturday.

Brown hit .571 (4-for-7), while also recording a 1.714 slugging percentage and a .625 on-base percentage. In two contests, the Rancho Cucamonga native totaled two home runs, a triple, six RBI, four runs, and a walk.

Defensively she was stellar at her catcher position, collecting 12 putouts and three assists.
