Forward Jani Carmona-Urbano has been named the Wilson/CCAA Women's Soccer Player of the Week for the week of Sept. 3-Sept. 9.

The Lompoc senior led the Coyotes to a 3-0 week beginning with a 3-1 win over Cal Baptist.  She led CSUSB in a 1-0 win and 4-1 win against Cal Poly Pomona and San Francisco State respectively.

Carmona-Urbano registered two multiple-goal games and finished with 5 goals and 1 assist as the Coyotes defeated Cal Baptist, Cal Poly Pomona and San Francisco State.

 She recorded game-winning goals against Cal Baptist and also in the 1-0 overtime win over the Broncos.  

Wrapping up the weekend, Carmona-Urbano tallied eight points and a .625 (5-for-8) shot-on-goal percentage.
