This week in Yotes athletics the men's soccer program heads to the CCAA Championship Tournament Semifinals, volleyball celebrates faculty and seniors, and the men's and women's basketball teams hit the road.
The No. 1 West Regionally ranked volleyball team (20-3; 15-0 CCAA) starts off the week for the Yotes on Tuesday, out in Rohnert Park to compete against the Sonoma State Seawolves. CSUSB will hit the floor a little earlier than usual, at 5 p.m.
Friday is the busiest day CSUSB athletics has seen so far, with four different games in one day. Men's basketball starts the day off in Seaside to face off against Western Oregon University. Men's basketball games this weekend will be streamed on ccaanetwork.com.
Men's soccer (10-4-3; 7-2-2 CCAA) competes in the CCAA Championships Tournament Semifinals hosted by Cal State LA. The Yotes take on Cal Poly Pomona in Los Angeles at 4 p.m and will be available to stream on ccaanetwork.com.
Later that evening, volleyball hits the floor in Coussoulis Arena at 7 p.m. as they face the Stanislaus State Warriors. On the road the women's basketball team heads to San Diego to take on the Point Loma Sea Lions at 7:30 p.m. Women's basketball games can be streamed on Stretch Internet.
Saturday is another busy one for the Yotes. Men's basketball takes on Central Washington University at 1 p.m.. Women's basketball faces off against Azusa Pacific at 5:30 p.m. in San Diego. Volleyball closes the week with another match in Coussoulis Arena against Chico State at 7 p.m. when they will celebrate their seniors and all the contributions they have made on and off the floor.
