    2008-09: Lucas appeared in 20 games and started seven times. He averaged 1.2 points a game in an average of 7.4 minutes per game. He hit five of 13 three-pointers (38.5 percent).  He had a season-high six points against Grand Canyon.
    BEFORE CAL STATE: Lucas played two seasons of basketball at Riverside Community College.
    HIGH SCHOOL: He is a 2003 graduate of John  Ehert High School in Marrero, La., where he played four years of basketball.
    PERSONAL: Lucas is a kinesiology major with a career goal of playing professional basketball and getting his degree.  Away from the court, he enjoys playing with his daughter, Jaiya, movies and cooking. His mother is Debra Lucas.
    MOST MEMORABLE SPORTS MOMENTS: Scoring 20 points in a game at RCC and blocking 10 shots in a game in high school and hitting a buzzer-beater shot to win a game in overtime.
