ALISO VIEJO, Calif. - Two California State University San Bernardino women's soccer student-athletes earned CCAA weekly honors with Emilee Perez (Corona, Calif.) winning Offensive Player of the Week and Ryann Munoz (Wrightwood, Calif.) earning Defensive Player of the Week. 

Perez scored three goals for CSUSB this week – two against Cal State East Bay and one against Cal State San Marcos, while Munoz earned a pair of clean sheets while recording nine saves for the Coyotes, with four of them coming against East Bay and five against San Marcos. 

The Coyotes posted two home wins in the process, a 5-0 win against Cal State East Bay and a 1-0 win versus Cal State San Marcos. CSUSB is now in third place in the CCAA standings and are only two points behind first place.

This is the first CCAA Athlete of the Week award for either player and marks the second week in a row that a CSUSB women's soccer player has earned CCAA Offensive Player of the Week honors, with Bella Cervantes (Anaheim, Calif.) earning the honor the previous week.

Cal State San Bernardino travels to Cal State LA on October 31 before coming home to face Cal State Dominguez Hills on November 2.
