Ready to Make it a Classic

The 2010 NCAA Men's Golf Central/West Regional field has been announced

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. — The 2010 NCAA Division II Men Regional Field has been announced and Cal State San Bernardino has made the 80 team field that features 20 teams in each regional field. The Coyotes are one of 10 teams to receive a bid from the West Region and will combine with 10 teams from the Central Region to comprise the 20-team regional field. The 2010 Men's Golf West/Central Regional will be played at the Classic Club in Palm Desert, Calif.

The Coyotes were ranked No. 8 in the West Region and reached their fifth straight regional tournament. No. 4 Chico State takes the top spot while No. 10 Cal State Stanislaus is the second seed. The Pacific West Conference champion Grand Canyon and the California Collegiate Association No. 22 Cal State Monterey Bay are the No. 3 and 4 seeds. No. 16 Western Washington, No. 20 Sonoma State and Dixie State (Utah) are the fifth, sixth and seventh seeds. Hawaii Hilo and St. Martin's (Wash.) round out the 10-team West Region.

No. 23 Colorado-Colorado Springs is the top seed in the Central Region.
