Preseason NSCAA/Adidas Division II Rankings
WALNUT CREEK — Picking up right where they left off from last year, Cal State San Bernardino will start the 2010 men's soccer season at No. 25 in the Preseason NSCAA/Adidas Division II Rankings for men's soccer.
Coming off the best season in head coach Noah Kooiman's career the Coyotes start out where they ended the 2009 season at No. 25. That's to be expected of a team that returns six starters, including two NCAA Division II All-West Region selections in Obi Agwu and Albert Cabrera.
CSUSB went 15-6-1 en route to the first NCAA postseason appearance since 1991. The Coyotes finished second in the CCAA South Division before bowing out to Cal State Dominguez Hills and Cal State L.A. in the CCAA and NCAA Tournaments.
CSU Dominguez Hills debuts at No. 4 while Cal State L.A. is No. 14. Sonoma State is No. 22.
Cal State San Bernardino kicks off its season Sept. 2 against St. Martins (Wash.) in Phoenix, Ariz.
