2010 COBRA MAGAZINE ALL-PRESEASON TEAM

SAN BERNARDINO — This may be just the start of things to come in the senior volleyball season of Jane Chafeh. The 2009 NCAA Division II West Region Player of the Year is already off to a good start after being named to COBRA Magazine's All-Preseason second team.

Chafeh was the only NCAA Division II player on the second team and was one of only three Division II players named to either of the three teams. Of the 44 players that were named to one of the three teams, only four were non Division I student-athletes.

COBRA Magazine's purpose is to celebrate the success of volleyball players of African descent in hopes of encouraging black girls to pursue the sport.
