LA JOLLA — Christina Torres and Janay Palicte won their fourth straight doubles match and Isabella Fraczek won her third straight singles match as Cal State San Bernardino fell 2-7 to No. 15 UC San Diego.

Torres and Palicte continue to roll and haven't lost since March 5 as they defeated Roxanna Pourmirzaie and Melissa Breisacher, 8-6, at No. 23 doubles. The Coyotes dropped the other two doubles matches as Jacquelyn Davis and Natalie Varnay combined to beat Allison Brooks and Fraczek, 8-2, at No. 1 doubles and Krystal Mizuguchi and Katie Barth defeated Kara Jenkins and Brittany Choate, 8-4.

Fraczek is now 6-3 overall and 4-3 in the California Collegiate Athletic Association after her 7-5, 6-2 win over Pourmirzaie at No. 4 singles.

The Tritons, who moved to 10-4 overall and 6-0 in the CCAA won the remaining singles matches. Samanta Yeung defeated Choate in straight sets at No. 1, 6-2, 6-0 while Davis knocked off Palicte 6-2, 3-6, 1-0 (12-10) at No. 2. At No. 3, Breisacher downed Torres, 6-2, 6-2 and at No. 5. Mizuguchi beat Brooks, 6-2, 7-5. Lisa Haredebeck also picked up a 3-6, 6-3, 1-0 (10-1) win over Jenkins at No. 6.

The Coyotes fall to 2-7 overall and 0-7 in the CCAA.
