SAN BERNARDINO — The only thing that would have made Isabella Fraczek's last game of the season would have been a team win as she won her seventh straight singles match in an 8-1 loss by Cal State San Bernardino to Cal State L.A.

After starting the year 3-3 through her first six matches, the freshman from Valencia, Calif., won seven in a row to close out the 2010 season with a 10-3 overall record and 7-3 in the California Collegiate Athletic Association.

The Coyotes fall to 3-10 overall and 0-9 in the CCAA

CSULA's Dora Kiss and Jillian Sangria won in straight sets at No. 1 and No. 2 singles over Brittany Choate (6-1, 6-3) and Janay Palicte (6-0, 6-1). Christina Torres looked to be rolling at No. 3 after winning the first set, 6-1, over Linda Majzlikova, but dropped the next two sets 6-0, 6-3. Allison Brooks and Adrina Espinosa traded sets with Brooks winning the first 6-4 and Espinosa taking the second 6-3. Espinosa then won a third-set tiebreaker 10-7. Marine Prevost also put Kara Jenkins away in straight sets, 6-2, 6-0.

The Golden Eagles swept all three doubles matches as well. Sangria and Espinosa downed Brooks and Fraczek, 8-5, at No. 1 while Kiss and Majzlikova beat Palicte and Torres, 8-5 at No. 2. Prevost and Lamesic also defeated Choate and Jenkins, 8-1.
