TURLOCK — It was de ja vu for Cal State San Bernardino as the Coyotes fell 9-0 to No. 20 Cal State Stanislaus for the second time in four days.

The Warriors (3-4, 3-1 CCAA) swept through the Coyotes (0-4, 0-4 CCAA) as CSUSB struggled to win a set.

Verena Preikschas won 6-0, 6-0 over Brittany Choate at No. 1 singles while Vanesa Reibstein defeated Janay Palicte 6-2, 6-0 at No. 2 singles. Isabella Fraczek fell 6-3, 6-4 at No. 3 singles to Katie Eng and Kara Jenkins lost 6-0, 6-0 to Arina Polovnikova at No. 4. Heather Cotter defeated Allison Brooks 6-0, 6-3 at No. 5 singles and Erin McGurty won 6-2, 6-0 over Michelle Mau at No. 6.

Preikschas and Eng downed Brooks and Fraczek, 8-3, at No. 1 doubles while Ribstein and Polovnikova beat Jenkins and Coate, 8-1 at No. 2. McGurty and Brianna McClintock swept Courtney Schumacher and Palicte, 8-5 at the No. 3 position.

The Coyotes will now travel to Cal State L.A. Tuesday for a 1:30 p.m. CCAA match.
