SAN BERNARDINO — No. 17 Cal State Stanislaus swept Cal State San Bernardino 9-0 to drop the Coyotes to 0-2 on the year.

Freshman Isabella Fraczek showed well again in her second match of her collegiate career by nearly taking a set away from Katie Eng at No. 3 singles. Fraczek fell 6-3, 7-6.

Brittany Choate and Christina Torres fell 6-0, 6-0 each at No. 1 and 2 singles to No. 23 Verena Preikschas and No. 18 Vanesa Reibstein of CSUS. Arina Polovnikova downed Kara Jenkins, 6-1, 6-1 at No. 4 singles while Heather Cotter defeated Janay Palicte, 6-1, 6-2 at No. 5 singles. Erin McGurty completed the sweep for the Warriors in singles with a 6-2, 6-2 win over Allison Brooks at No. 6.

It was a complete 8-3 sweep in all three doubles matches as Preikschas and Eng defeated Choate and Jenkins at No. 1, Reibstein and Polovnikova beat Torres and Palicte at No. 2 and McGurty and Brianna McClintock downed Fraczek and Brooks at No. 3.

The Coyotes are back in action Friday at Sonoma State and Saturday at Cal State Stanislaus.
