TURLOCK — This morning's steady rain in the Valley has once again altered today's Mizuno Best of the West Invitational. All Saturday games were cancelled.
At Pedretti Park, City of Turlock crews are working on the fields to prepare them ready for play again on Sunday. Saturday's games have been canceled and a revised schedule will be posted for the event to continue on Sunday.
Eleven games of the BWI were completed on Friday after a two-hour, 15-minute delay. There were 11 more games scheduled for today, including both of Cal State San Bernardino's games.
The Coytoes' Sunday games, against UC San Diego at 9:15 a.m. and Cal State Dominguez Hills at 12 p.m., remain as scheduled. A third game has been added at 4:15 against Humboldt State.
