Cal State San Bernardino, working on a three-game win streak and winners of eight of their last nine games, host Cal State L.A. and Cal State Dominguez Hills for a pair of CCAA conference games Friday and Saturday in Coussoulis Arena.
The Coyotes are coming off an uplifting 66-58 victory over 2009 NCAA West Region champion and CCAA co-champ Cal Poly Pomona, ranked No. 20 in the nation, Tuesday night and are 8-3 overall and 6-1 in the CCAA, a half-game ahead of Chico State as of Wednesday.
The team has gone 8-1 since opening the season 0-2. The loss was a two-point upset at Cal State Stanislaus on Jan. 3, 72-70.
COYOTES VS. L.A. – CSUSB has dominated the series 27-10 and has won 22 straight since a 54-46 loss to the Golden Eagles in 1998-99.
COYOTES VS. TOROS – CSUSB leads that series 27-10 and suffered its first loss to the Toros since the 2000-01 season on Dec. 6, 2008 at the Torodome.
HOUSE OF PAIN – The Coyotes are 165-29 in Coussoulis Arena since the 4,140-seat facility opened in 1995-96 and they are 120-19 in CCAA conference play. CSUSB is 6-1 at home this year, the only loss coming at the hands of NAIA power Concordia Irvine.

YOTES NOTES – Coyotes enter the week ranked No. 1 in the conference in scoring (74.4 ppg), No. 2 in field goal percentage (46.8), No. 1 in assists (17.4/game), No. 1 in steals (8.7/game), No. 1 in turnover margin (plus 5.0) and No. 3 in 3-point field goals (7.0/game)….
Bryan LeDuc, coming off a 25-point, 17-rebound performance at Pomona is No. 4 in the CCAA in scoring at 14.6 ppg and No. 2 in rebounding at 7.0/game, No.2 in field goal percentage (62.8) and No. 3 in free throw percentage (93.1)….
Lawrence Tyson is No. 2 in the CCAA in steals (1.8/game) and No. 4 in 3-pointers made (2.0/game)….
Aaron Hill is No. 2 in assists per game (4.3), but teammate
Corey Caston is averaging over six assists a game in just seven contests……LeDuc and Tyson are both averaging over 30 minutes per game….Caston has averaged 8.4 ppg since his activation last month….the 66 points against Pomona was the team's lowest point total of the season…...CSUSB is averaging just 10.5 turnovers a game and had only five against Pomona…..
