For the 10th straight year, the Cal State San Bernardino women's cross country team has been selected as one of the NCAA Division II All-Academic teams.
The team compiled a combined grade point average of 3.29 to finish among 99 teams across the country who earned at least a 3.1 team GPA to make the list.
CSUSB was one of only three California Collegiate Athletic Association teams to earn the award, presented each year by the U.S. Track and Field/Cross Country Coaches Association. The others were UC San Diego and San Francisco State.

Adams State, the 2008 national champion in the sport, also earned the Scholar Team of the Year Award from the association. Seattle Pacific had the highest overall GPA among the 99 teams at 3.74. Adams State's GPA was 3.41.
Nine of the top 10 teams and 15 of the top 20 teams at the national championship meet also made the All-Academic list.
