Cal State San Bernardino junior outside hitter
Jane Chafeh today was voted to the Daktronics/ NCAA Div. II all-America first team by the division's sports information directors.
Chafeh earlier was voted the Daktronics West Region Player of the Year in addition to being named to the American Volleyball Coaches Association all-America first team, the AVCA all-West Region first team and the all-CCAA conference first team.
She was the only Coyote who made the three Daktronics teams announced.
Maggie McNamara, the senior setter from Concordia-St. Paul, was voted the Daktronics Player of the Year after being named earlier this week as the AVCA/NCAA Div. II player of the year for the second straight year.
Makenzie Snyder of Chico State earned Daktronics third-team all-America while Calli Scott, a setter for Alaska Anchorage and Roxanne Brunsting, a libero from UC San Diego, earned honorable mention.
Four members of the Concordia-St. Paul team earned first, second or third team honors.
