Cal State San Bernardino landed junior
Jane Chafeh, senior
Sara Hoffman and sophomore
Samantha Middleborn on the American Volleyball Coaches Association all-West Region first-team in NCAA Division II.
The trio is now eligible for consideration by coaches as AVCA all-Americans. That team will be announced just prior to the NCAA national championship tournament in St. Paul, Minn., Dec. 3-5, where the Coyotes will be one of eight teams competing.
In addition, Chafeh was selected as the Daktronics/NCAA Division II West Region player of the year and Middleborn was named on the first-team all-region along with Chafeh in a vote by sports information directors from the region's colleges and universities.
Hoffman did not make the Daktronics all-region teams, outvoted by Calli Scott of Alaska Anchorage and Elaine Chen of UC San Diego.
