    RENO, Nev. – Cal State San Bernardino's women's cross country team finished fourth in a six-team 4K run Friday night at the 2008 Jim Vanden Heuvel Twilight Run at Rancho San Rafael Park, an event won by the host Wolfpack.
            The Coyotes had 10 runners finish in the top 40 in the race with freshman Nikki Chestnut, former San Andreas League standout at Cajon High School, finishing first among Coyote runners and 26th overall in 18:18. It was Chestnut's first race as a collegian.
            Right behind in 18:20 (27th place) was CSUSB newcomer Anjali Nieto followed by senior Kari Brandt in 28th spot, timed in 18:22. Junior Shawna Alvarez was 32nd in 19:03. Junior Kristen Torres and Marlene Malagon finished 35th and 36th in 19:09 and 19:50 respectively.
            Two other CSUSB newcomers – Angelica Lopez and Kindra Funch – were 37th and 38th into the finish area, both timed a shade over 20:00. Senior Elena Mohd-Yusof was 40th in 20:46.
            Nevada-Reno took the team title with 22 points, placing five runners among the top seven. UC Riverside was second with 42 points, followed by Fresno State (92), the Coyotes (110), Shasta Community College (142) and Mills College (151).
            Dannielle Evens of UCR won the individual title, finishing in 15:56.
